1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 c. celery
1 can Chinese vegetables
2 c. chicken broth or water (If substituting chicken soup concentrate-then delete salt.)
2 tsp. sugar
2-1/2 T. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 c. cooked chicken, pork or veal slivers

Heat oil, salt (if desired) and pepper in deep skillet. Add celery and chicken broth; cook about 10 min. Add Chinese vegetables. Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce and add to vegetable mixture. Stir until mixture thickens. Add meat and heat through. Serve over rice.
