2 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs unbeaten

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl, mix all ingredients well.
Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls. Let stand, then pressa each with a cloth covered glass bottom to make round cookies. Or chill, roll out on floured board, and cut with cookie or biscuit cutter.
Bake at 350º until golden around the edges.
