Ingredients for cake:
1/3 cup Coca-Cola
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients for Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 cup Coca-Cola
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pkg confectioners sugar (aprox 1 lb)
1/2 to 1 cup of chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
For cake, heat butter, syrup and oil in a saucepan to a boil.
Pour over dry ingredients (sugar, flour and soda) and mix.
Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Butter and flour a 9x13 baking pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
For frosting, in a saucepan combine the butter and syrup.
Heat until butter melts.
Add remaining ingredients.
Spread on cake while it is hot.
Allow to cool before cutting.
