2-1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz) bottle of beer OR unflavored seltzer
1/2 c. butter melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º F. In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well using a wooden spoon. Batter will be lumpy. Place dough in a greased loaf pan. Pour 1/3 of butter over dough. Bake the bread for 40 minutes then pour 1/3 of butter over the top of bread. Continue baking for an additional 10 minutes. Pour the last 1/3 butter on the bread and bake 10 minutes longer. Remove bread from oven and allow to cool for 30-45 minutes. Serve warm.
