2 C flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp salt
1 T sugar
1/2 C shortening (or oleo)
1 egg
2/3 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, cut shortening into flour (helps if shortening is cold). Drop in egg and 2/3 C milk. Mix with fork and knead enough to hold together. Roll "thick"
Bake at 450º for 12-15 minutes
