1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onions
3/4 c. uncooked minute rice
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
1-10 3/4 oz can condensed chicken and rice soup
1-4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. margarine
1 1/2 c. chow mein noodles

Preheat oven to 350º. In a saucepan, over medium heat, stir and cook ground beef, celery and onions until meat is browned; drain. Place rice into a lightly greased 2 quart baking dish. Pour boiling water over rice. Stir in remaining ingredients except chow mein noodles. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Remove cover. Stir; bake uncovered 30 minutes. Stir in chow mein noodles just before serving. Serves 4.
