1 1/4 c. soft butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
5 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
4 tsp. baking powder
FROSTING:
4 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. hot milk
1 tsp. vanilla, almond or flavoring of choice

**This recipe makes a large batch, you may want to make only a half batch.** Mix cookie ingredients together and refrigerate until very cool. Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 375º for 8 minutes. Mix frosting ingredients together well and add food coloring of choice. You can divide frosting to create various colors.
