1 unbaked pie shell
3 c. rhubarb, cut up
1 c. sugar
1 rounded tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks (save whites)
1/4 c. water
9 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cover cut up rhubarb with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes, drain off excess liquid. Add to rhubarb, 1 c. sugar, flour, egg yolks and 1/4 c. water. Put mixture into shell, put 2-3 pats of butter on top. Bake at 350º until firm, about 45 minutes. Make meringue by beating 3 egg whites until stiff with 9 tbsp. sugar. Put on top of pie when baked, return to oven to brown.
