2 lbs. butternut squash, peeled and cubed
4 c. water
4 T. orange marmalade
4 T. apricot preserves
6 tart apples, cut into chunks
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
cinnamon to taste
nutmeg to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine squash and water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until squash is fork tender. Drain. Spread the apples onto a well greased 8-inch square baking dish. Top with the cooked squash. In a small bowl, combine the orange marmalade, apricot preserves, and cranberry sauce. Spice to taste. Blend well. Spoon mixture over top of squash and apples. Bake uncovered at 350º for about 25 minutes until heated through.

May be made ahead and refrigerated overnight, baking right before serving. This is a holiday favorite.
The sauce is great on top of turkey or chicken.
