2-1/2c flour
5 eggs, separated yolks and egg whites.
6 Tbsp sugar
1weet butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c apricot jam
1 c sugar
3 c ground walnuts
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine flour, eggs yolks, sugar,butter and vanilla.
Blend with folk until dough comes away from sides of bowl.

Press dough into a 11x16 inch pan. Spread with jam.

Beat egg whites until stiff. gradually beating in 1 c sugar. fold in nuts. Spread over dough.

Bake at 350º for 40 mins.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cool and cut Bars
