Four packages frozen broccoli spears, cooked (I use four heads of fresh broccoli)
6 ounces cheese (Velveeta, CheeseWhiz, etc)
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream
1 stick butter
1 chopped onion
1 small can pieces and stem mushrooms
Bread crumbs
Sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and drain broccoli and place in a casserole dish. Melt butter in microwave safe dish and cook onion until translucent. Add garlic, cheese, soup, and mushrooms and melt and stir in microwave until all is melted and mixed. Pour sauce over broccoli. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and sliced almonds and bake at 350º for thirty minutes.
