1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white Karo Syrup
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup pecan halves or pieces
1 tsp oleo
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Put first 4 ingredients in Pyrex bowl.
Microwave on high 8 minutes, stopping & stirring every 2 minutes.
Use wooden spoon & leave in bowl.
Add 1 tsp vanilla & 1 tsp oleo.
Stir & microwave on high 2 more minutes.
Add 1 tsp baking soda; stir quickly & pour onto greased foil on a cookie sheet to cool.
Break into pieces & keep in airtight container.
