1 (16.5-oz.) Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix
1 (3-oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 c. water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 egg whites
1/3 c. frozen strawberries in syrup
Frosting:
1 lb. powdered sugar, approximately
1 c. minus 2 T. frozen strawberries in syrup
1 stick butter, softened

Directions:
Cake: In a large mixer bowl, mix cake mix and dry Jello. Add water, oil and 1/3 c. thawed strawberries. Beat well, about 4 min. Bake at 350º as 3 layers, a 13x9 inch cake or cupcakes, using suggested time from the cake mix directions.
Frosting: Cream powdered sugar, softened butter and thawed strawberries. Beat well, adjusting powdered sugar and strawberries to produce a fluffy consistency. Spread on cooled cake or cupcakes.
