1 C Butter (softened)
1 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Almond Extract
2 1/2 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cream of Tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, powdered sugar, egg, vanilla and almond extract until creamy. Add flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate 2 - 3 hours. Place chilled dough on floured wax paper. Dust rolling pin with flour and roll out dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 7 - 8 minutes at 375º until the edges are lightly browned. Convection bake at 350º for 7 - 8 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.

Can sprinkle with sugar prior to baking or frost when done.
