1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 375º
In an oven proof glass bowl add all ingredients and mix well.
Bake for 35 minutes
Cool and ice if desired
