2 T. olive oil
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch chunks
3 hot Italian sausages, cut into coins
4 chopped garlic cloves
1 - 28 oz. can whole peeled tomatoes, crushed by hand
1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
salt and pepper
1 sweet red pepper, cored, seeded and cut into 3/4" dice
1/2 lb. medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 lb. penne pasta
1/2 c. grated pecorino, parmesan, or romano cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Add chicken and sausage and saute for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in peeled tomatoes and liquid, tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sweet peppers and simmer for 10 more minutes. Stir in shrimp and cook for 3 minutes or until shrimp is pink and firm.
When sauce is halfway done, cook pasta. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Stir pasta and cheese into sauce and cook for 1 minute. Add some of the pasta water if the sauce it too thick.
