loaf bread, torn in pieces
salt to taste
1 c. sugar (add cinnamon to taste)
2 t. vanilla
4 eggs, beaton
raisens (if desired) app. 1 cup
milk
butter

Lemon sauce:
1 cup sugar (or use Splenda Blend)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
1 lemon, zest
1 lemon, the juice (about 2-1/2 tbsps.)
2 tablespoons butter


Directions:

Grease 7 x 11 baking dish, layer brad, salt to taste, cinnamon/sugar mixture. add v ailla to beaten eggs and raisens. cover with milk and dot w/butter/ sprinkle a little more sugar/cinnamon after taken from oven.

top with lemon sauce and sliced strawberries, if desired.

Boil water, starch and sugar, boil until thickened, add lemon juice and zest



2 tablespoons butter
