1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Hershey kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and peanut butter. Add sugar and cream together. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Add flour, soda, and salt and mix thoroughly. Shape into balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 10 minutes. Remove from oven top each with a kiss, pressing down just until the cookie cracks. Bake two minutes longer. Make sure you don't add to much flour or your cookies will crumble instead of crack.
