1 cup soft butter
vanilla
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Red candied cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and add icing sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, walnuts, and flour and mix well. Cut rounds with floured 1 3/4" cookie cutter. Placed a red candied cherry in the center and shape in a ball with lightly floured hands. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and chill for 15 minutes. Bake at 350ºF for 15 to 20 minutes. While warm, roll in icing sugar. Store in cool place. Freezes well.
