1/2 lb. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped,
1/3 cup butter,
3/4 cup flour,
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder,
1 cup sugar,
1/8 tsp. baking soda,
3 large eggs,
1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries,
1 cup toasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped,

In bowl, set over hot water, combine chocolate and butter, heat until melted.

Combine flour, cocoa, sugar and soda, set aside:

In large bowl, whisk eggs, stir in flour mixture. Add melted chocolate, mix well.
Fold in cranberries and nuts.

Pour batter into greased 13 X 9 baking dish.

Bake in 350 F. for 25 - 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in centre comes out slightly moist. Let cool in dish on rack. Cut into squares.

To toast hazelnuts:
Spread nuts on baking sheet and bake at 350 F. for 8 - 10 minutes.
Transfer to towel and rub off skins.
