Ingredients:

3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
2 cup dry roasted peanuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2-quart glass measure, stir together sugar and corn syrup until blended. Microwave uncovered on high for 7 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Stir in salt, butter, peanuts, and vanilla. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 5 to 6 minutes. Beat in baking soda (mixture will be bubbly and turn light tan).
Immediately pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet and with a spatula, quickly spread out as thinly as possible. Let cool for at least 1 hour. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container. Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
My new microwave is 1000 watt. For the first time in microwave, I decrease to 5 minutes and 2nd time I put in for 4 minutes.
