Beat until frothy:
12 egg yolks
1 tsp. salt

Add: 1 1/2 c. sugar-beat until creamy
Add: 1 tsp. vanilla

Add alternately dry and liquid 2 times.
Cake flour and 2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. cold water

350º, 13 - 15 minutes - Bake in jelly roll pan lined with waxed paper (grease sides of pan)

Remove from oven and turn onto dish towel that is damp. Spread with favorite jelly and roll immediately-starting with the widest side. Wrap in waxed paper dusted with powdered sugar

The cake part of this jelly roll gets pretty thick. I might use a third smaller pan so that the cake is thinner and rolls more easily.
