1 c. Margarine
1 c. Vegetable Shortening
3 c. Powdered Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Almond Flavoring
5 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar

Makes about 65 medium sized cookies

Directions:
Directions:
350º, 7 - 8 minutes or until lightly brown - Cream together - margarine, shortening, powdered sugar.
Add - eggs, vanilla and almond flavoring.

Combine all of above with flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.

May need to add about 1/2 cup of to prevent dough from being too dry.

Always mix these and allow to stand a couple of hours in a cool place (not necessarily in the fridge) before baking.

Lightly flour surface to roll out cookies. Do not roll too thinly, cut as desired and bake on greased baking sheets . Frost with cream cheese frosting.
