1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
5 T. flour
1 c. milk
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter, shortening and sugar together. Set aside. In a small saucepan stir the flour and gradually add the milk. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool completely. When cool add to butter mixture and beat at high speed until light and fluffy. Beat in the salt and vanilla; frost cake.
