2 2/3 C. sugar
2 Sticks margarine
6 eggs
3 C. flour
1 pt. heavy cream
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. sour cream
filling:
2 pkgs. 10 oz. each, frozen strawberries
1 C. sugar
6 Tbsp. corn starch
1/2 C. water
Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º
Cream sugar and margarine, then add one at a time 5 eggs.
Beat well after each.
Blend in the flour, (Beat the flour for 4 minutes) then add the last egg, vanilla and sour cream.
Pour batter in to 3 prepared round cake pans and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Filling:
Combine sugar, cornstarch, then add the water and juice from the berries. Bring to a boil 5 minutes, stirring until thick.
Puree berries and add to mixture.
Refrigerate one hour.
Frost center of cake layers with the berry filling.
Frost the outer cake with whipped cream.
