1 T. salad oil
6 pork loin or rib chops, each 3/4" each
1 - 15oz. can tomato sauce
1/3 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
2 T. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram leaves
1/4 tsp. dried rubbed sage
2 medium sized onions, sliced
1 small lemon, thinly sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chops in hot oil in a large skillet; remove.
Add tomato sauce, sugar, vinegar, parsley, slat and pepper, marjoram and sage to the skillet. Return pork chops to the skillet; top with onion and lemon slices.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour. Skim fat from liquid.
