3/4 C Crisco shortening
3/4 C white sugar
1/4 C brown sugar
1/4 C molasses
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars, add egg, vanilla, and molasses. Beat well. Add dry ingredients and beat well. Roll dough into balls and roll them in white sugar and place on greased cookie sheet and flatten. Bake at 350º for 10 min.
