1 (2 1/2 - 3 #) boneless chuck roast
1/2 t garlic salt
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium celery stalk, chopped
2 T brown sugar
1 c ketchup
1/4 c fresh lemon juice
3 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T cider vinegar
1 T liquid smoke
1/4 c all purpose flour
12 hamburger buns, warmed

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle chuck roast with garlic salt. Place roast in the bottom of a greased 3 1/2 - 4 quart slow cooker. Top with onion and celery.
Combine brown sugar, ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and liquid smoke in small bowl. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or until beef is tender. Remove meat from slow cooker and place on cutting board.
Ladle 1/4 c liquid from slow cooker into a small bowl. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Stir flour mixture into sauce in slow cooker. Shred beef with a fork and return to slow cooker. Cook on high 30 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
