1/3 c. semisweet chocolate pieces
1 uncooked deep dish pie crust
1 c. karo light corn syrup
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
2 T. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, stir in syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla; stir in pecans. In bottom of pie crust sprinkle the chocolate pieces; gently pour pie mixture into pie crust; bake at 350º for 60-70 minutes. Remove pie from oven and let stand for at least one hour to set before serving.
