1-14 oz can pineapple chunks
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Soya sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapple syrup into a 4-cup glass measure or similar microwave-safe dish. Blend in vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup and Soya sauce. Cook, uncovered, on High for 4 to 6 minutes stirring once during cooking, until mixture comes to a boil. Stir about ¼ cup hot mixture into cornstarch paste, blending well. Gradually stir this back into hot mixture. Cook uncovered, 1 to 2 minutes on High until sauce boils and thickens. Add pineapple chunks.
Serve over cooked meatballs.
Makes about 3 cups of sauce.
