1 Medium Elephant (African is best)
500 Gallons Hot Water
2 Pecks Onions, finely chopped
1 Bushel Potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 Large Shovels Salt
3 Large Shovels Pepper
1 ½ cases Worcestershire Sauce
10 Bottles White Rum (or more if cooking time is longer or expecting more than 8 guests)
Coca Cola to taste
5 Quarts Peanut Oil (optional)

Directions:

Mix, 1 ½ oz of rum with coke. Drink.
Wash and dry elephant (Do not use soap it will spoil the flavour)
Chop into bite sized pieces.
In the back of a ½ ton pick up truck or trailer, add water.
Have another rum and coke.
Add elephant, spuds, and other ingredients, Allow soup to simmer
Meanwhile, finish 1st bottle of rum
Stir mixture often using a canoe paddle or small outboard motor.
When guests arrive, start them off with the remaining rum.
