1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (8 oz.) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup sliced onion
1 cup sliced celery
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 (14.5 oz.) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 (0.87 oz.) package brown gravy mix
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, combine steak, mushrooms, onion, celery, and garlic.
In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, 1/2 cup water, gravy mix, salt, and pepper. Pour over steak mixture. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
