3 eggs
1/3 - 1/2 c. vegetable oil (3/4 of a juice glass)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts
3/4 of 1 square unsweetened chocolate, grated

Beat eggs slightly. Add oil, grated chocolate and nuts. Add oil mixture to dry ingredients. Mix well. If too sticky, add a little more flour. Form dough into logs on floured board and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 350º on greased baking sheet for about 20 -25 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove to cooling rack. When slightly cooled, slice on an angle. Place on side on baking sheet and toast under broiler until lightly brown. Flip and do other side. Cool on rack.
