1 small chicken
3 stalks celery
3 to 4 carrots
1 med onion
2 small potatoes
parsley ( put in just before done)

DUMPLINGS
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken
Take out bones and skin
Add vegetables
Add dumplings

DUMPLINGS
Beat egg slightly in small bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly with egg.
Drop small bit of batter into simmering soup.
Cover ane simmer 20 more minutes.
