Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 small boxes of Jello in the following colors: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red
1 pint sour cream
Cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
1. Starting with the purple Jello, divide the Jello powder in half and set one aside.
2. Boil water and dissolve ½ c boiling water in the Jello.
3. Add ½ c cold water to Jello and stir.
4. Pour into 9x13 glass dish and let set in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
5. Using second half of the purple Jello powder, boil water and dissolve ½ c boiling water in the Jello.
6. Add ¼ c sour cream
7. Add ¼ c cold water and stir till sour cream is mixed in.
8. Pour on top of first purple layer and let set in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Repeat steps 1-8 for each color of Jello. I rotate the dish in the fridge with each layer as most refrigerator shelves are slightly uneven. By the time you get to the last two layers, the dish is nearly full and you will need to pour the layers on when the dish is still in the fridge. This may take 2 people. It is worth the effort – it is always a hit with the kids.
When ready to serve, spread cool whip over the top like frosting.
