2 -3 # boneless chicken (soak in whiskey)
1 ginger (3 slices)
1 bunch green onions
1 large sweet onion
1 pkg, dry mushrooms
1 10 oz. can bamboo shoots
1 pkg. long rice
1 block tofu
3 pkg. aburage (fried bean curd)
Sauce:
1 1/2 c shoyu sauce
6 T brown sugar
1 c chicken broth
water from mushroom

Directions:

Saute chicken and ginger in oil in a large pot. Add sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Slice onions and mushrooms. Depending on the brand you may have to slice the bamboo shoots, Add onions,mushrooms, and bamboo shoots to pot. Cook for 3 minutes. Cut tofu in blocks and green onions in 1/2 inch lengths. Cook 3 more minutes. Serves with rice.
