One cup Butter
One cup Shortening
Three cups Sugar
Four Eggs

5 cups Flour
Four teaspoons Cream of Tartar
Two teaspoons Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Four Tablespoons Sugar
Four teaspoons Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400.
Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, three cups sugar, and eggs.
Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfulls into balls.
Mix Four Tablespoons sugar and cinnamon together.
Roll balls of cookie dough in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Place two inches apart on UNgreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until set, do not overbake.
Immediately remove from baking sheet.
