One cup Butter, softened
One cup Vegetable Oil
One cup sugar
One cup Powdered Sugar
Two Eggs
One teaspoon vanilla extract
One (3.4 oz) instant lemon pudding mix or
instant pudding of your choice
Four cups Flour
One teaspoon Cream of Tartar
One teaspoon Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream the butter, oil, and sugars. Beat in eggs, vanilla and dry pudding mix. Combine flour, cream of tartar and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Drop by Tablespoonfuls, two inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks.
