ham or chicken
carrots
potatoes

BISCUITS
2 cups flour
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
5 Tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cut potatoes and carrots into chunks. Boil with leftover meat until vegetables are tender. Reserve about two cups of broth. Pour meat & vegetable mixture into baking dish. Thicken the reserved broth with cornstarch or flour and pour over meat & potato mixture.
Mix together the biscuit ingredients and drop by spoonfuls on top of the vegetable mixture.
Bake at 350 until biscuits are deep golden brown.
