3/4 c. flour
6-oz. chocolate chips
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 T. water
1-1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. sugar
4 T. bourbon
1/3 c. shortening

Frosting:
1/2 c. softened butter
green food coloring
mint extract
vanilla
2 c. sifted powdered sugar

Chocolate glaze:
3 T. shortening
6-oz. chocolate chips

325º, 25 - 30 minutes - Brownies:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt, set aside. Combine water w/sugar & shortening in saucepan. Boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chips and vanilla, beat until smooth. Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time, add walnuts if used. Add flour mixture. spread in greased and floured brownie pan. Bake.

Frosting:
cream butter & add food coloring and extracts. add sifted powdered sugar gradually. use electric mixer if available, spread over cooled brownies

Glaze:
melt shortening w/chips in top of a double boiler, spread over frosting. cool and cut into small squares
