Ingredients:
Ingredients:
One cup Whipping Cream
1/2 cup Sugar
One cup Milk
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
nuts or small pieces of fruit, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a clean one pound coffee can with a tight fitting plastic lid. For extra security, tape the lid to the can. Place the one pound can inside a three pound coffee can with a tight fitting lid. Place crushed ice around the smaller can. Pour almost one cup of rock salt over the ice around the smaller can. (Remember that the salt solutions can be harmful to plants. Dispose of properly.)
Replace the lid. Roll the can back and forth on the floor or the sidewalk for ten minutes. Remove the inside can carefully, making sure no salt solution drops into the ice cream. Stir the ice cream mixture with a spatula. Replace the lid. Drain the larger can. Pack again with ice and salt, and roll for five more minutes.
