1 1/2 c. sliced ham
6 medium potatoes
3 T. butter
3 T. flour
salt and pepper
2 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. onion
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Peel potatoes and thinly slice to measure about 4 cups. In greased 2 quart casserole dish arrange potatoes in 4 layers, sprinkling each layer with 1 T. onion, 1 T. flour, 1/4 t. salt and pepper, and dotting each with 1 T. butter. Sprinkle the top layer with remaining onions, salt and pepper and dot with butter.
Heat milk to scalding, pour over potatoes. Cover and bake 30 minutes, Uncover and bake 60-70 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
