4 lb beef chuck roast
2 c. water
8 small potatoes, peeled and cut
8 medium carrots, peeled and cut
salt and pepper
Flour and water (used later)

Directions:
Directions:
Place roast in crockpot. Add all ingredients except the flour and water that will be used when roast is complete. Turn on high until hot and then turn down to low and cook 8-10 hours. Mix flour and water to make a thin paste. Add to the crockpot and mix to make a thin gravy. Serve hot
