2 1/4 cups cake flour (Do not substitute)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 sticks land o lakes real butter, softened
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs, at room temp
2 tsp. vanilla
20 oz. chocolate chips

Combine flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Using a mixer cream butter and sugars together for 4 minutes, until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Blend in vanilla. With the mixer on low speed blend in the flour mixture. Do not over mix. Add chocolate chips and mix in by hand. Place dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour. (Dough can be refrigerated up to 48 hours.) Shape dough into balls about the size of golf balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with silpat or parchment paper. Sprinkle balls lightly with course sea salt (or you can sprinkle it on immediately after they come out of the oven) Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes for soft cookies and 12-15 for crisp cookies. Cool a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack.
