3 large green peppers
1 cup dry bread or cracker crumbs
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 lb hamburg
1 tbsp onion ,chopped
1 tsp salt
8 oz can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Cut thin slices from stem end of each green pepper. Remove all seed and membranes, wash inside and out. Heat 1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to boiling and add green peppers. Cook 5 minutes and drain. Mix remaining ingredients. Lightly stuff each green pepper with 1/3 of the meat mixture. Stand peppers upright on uncreated baking dish. Cover and bake 45 minutes then uncover and bake 15 minutes.
