1½ tsp. grated orange peel
2 T. fresh orange juice
1 T. finely chopped shallots
½ tsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt, divided
¼ tsp. ground pepper, divided
1½ lbs. asparagus, trimmed
1 T. olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450º.
2. Combine first 4 ingredients, ¼ tsp. salt ,and ⅛ tsp. pepper. Set aside.
3. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a baking pan or jelly roll pan coated with cooking spray. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with ¼ tsp. salt and ⅛ tsp. pepper. Toss well to coat. Bake 10 minutes, tossing again after 5 minutes.
4. Remove pan from oven. Drizzle juice mixture over asparagus. Toss to coat. Return to oven for 5 minutes or until crisp tender.
