2 unbeaten egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cold water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place ingredients, except vanilla, over rapidly boiling water in a double boiler.
Beat constantly with a rotary beater or whisk for 7 minutes.
Remove from heat, add vanilla.
Continue beating until icing is the right consistency to spread.
