1/2 c shortening
1 c milk
1/2 c dark cocoa
pinch of salt
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 t baking soda

Filling:
1/2 c evaporated milk
1/3 sugar
pinch of salt
2/3 c shortening
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Beat all ingredients for black moons in mixer. Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoon. Bake for 6-7 minutes until slightly firm.

Beat all ingredients for filling together for 10 min. Let sit for 5 min. Beat again until thick and creamy.
