2 lbs. headless unpeeled shrimp- 16-20 count/lb. (rinse for 3 minutes under cold water),
1/4 cup olive oil,
2 tbsp margarine or butter,
1 tbsp minced garlic,
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce,
3 tbsp lemon juice,
2 bay leaves,
1 tbsp paprika,
1 tsp dried rosemary leaves,
1 tsp dried oregano,
1 tsp dried basil,
1 tbsp hot sauce,
salt and pepper to taste,
1/4 cup white wine

Directions:
Directions:
In a large non-stick skillet,combine the olive oil, margarine, garlic, Worcestershire, lemon juice, bay leaves, paprika, rosemary, oregano, basil, hot sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook over medium heat until the sauce begins to boil. Add the shrimp and cook for about 5 minutes. Add wine and cook for another 5 minutes or until shrimp are done. Serve shrimp with the sauce.

Personal Notes:
This is traditional New Orleans BBQ shrimp. It's not actually "BBQ". It is made to be served with the shell on the shrimp and served with french bread. You sop up the sauce with the french bread when you eat it. I have made it in the past by first peeling the shrimp and then cooking it, simply to save myself from the mess......and because I have a young child eating it who adds to the "messy factor".
