1 box of your favorite chocolate cake mix
ingredients to make as directed on box
4 squares semi sweet chocolate for baking
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
toasted pecans
vanilla ice cream, frozen yogurt or cool whip

Mix & bake cake as directed on box, pour into large skillet or round deep baking dish that has been sprayed with PAM, bake as directed on box, when done, immediately turn onto serving plate. While cake is baking, melt chocolate in dish, start zapping 30 sec at
a time, repeat every 15 seconds after that til melted, stir in ½ jar of caramel ice cream topping, pour over cake, pour little of remaining topping over that and sprinkle with toasted pecans, serve warm with ice cream, frozen yogurt or cool whip.
